Tidewater Community College provides collegiate education and training to adults of all ages and backgrounds, helping them achieve their individual goals and contribute as citizens and workers to the vitality of an increasingly global community.
Established in 1997, the Norfolk Campus is in the heart of downtown. The urban campus is strategically located in the cultural, business and theater district of the City of Norfolk. The campus includes the Jeanne and George Roper Performing Arts Center, formerly the historic Loews State Theater, as well as a student center that complements the landscape and includes an outdoor gathering space just off Granby Street.
